This will be the third time we have held a retreat at the Ocean Resort in Canada. Ocean Resort is in a beautiful environment right next to the sea, which makes it very easy to relax and reflect. The resort offers some fantastic amenities including a library packed with consciousness reading books, DVD’s and CD’s, a quiet reading room, a sanctuary for meditation, a Labyrinth for meditative walk and saunas.
The Joy for Life Retreat is a unique combination of physical rejuvenation and effective stress-reduction technique. Throughout the week you are given the opportunity to participate in group workshops focused on The Work of Byron Katie and facilitated by Tom Compton. Tom is also available for one on one consultation. By applying the principals of The Work consistently over a week, you are able to deeply immerse yourself in the process.
While experiencing this transformation of thought, you will also experience physical nourishment by drinking green smoothies 4 times a day, along with trays of fresh organic fruit. Victoria, Sergei, and Valya Boutenko will teach classes daily. They will give talks on nutrition, their research, and experiences with the raw diet and of course green smoothies.
The retreat starts on August 1st at 12:00 p.m. and concludes at 1:00 p.m. on August 7th.
